Your LimeSpot audience segments know who browsed, who left a cart and who spends the most. Connecting Google Ads exports those segments to Google Customer Match, so you can retarget high-intent shoppers and bring past buyers back. LimeSpot also sends conversion data back to Google Ads to help it optimize your spend.

Included in the Growth Agents plan. If your plan doesn't include it, the Google Ads card in Settings > Integrations shows Google Ads is not included in your plan with a Contact Sales link.
Before you start
Create the segments you want to advertise to. See Create audience segments.
Sign in with a Google account that has access to the Google Ads account you want to link.
Connect Google Ads
In Studio, click Menu (⋮) in the top bar and click Audiences.
Click the Google Ads button in the top bar.
Click Connect Google Ads.
Sign in with Google in the popup. Studio shows "Finish sign-in in the popup…" while it waits.
Under Choose an Ads account, select the account to link. To sign in with another Google account, click Use a different account. Studio asks you to type DISCONNECT first.
Click Connect & sync segments.
The button now shows Connected — segments syncing.
Tip
You can also connect during AI onboarding on the Connect Google step, or later in Settings > Integrations on the Google Ads card.
Turn segment sync on or off
If the button shows Connected — segment sync off, your segments aren't being exported. Open the Google Ads menu and click Enable segment sync.
Find your segments in Google Ads
In Google Ads, your synced segments appear as audience lists named LimeSpot Segment - {segment name}. Add these lists to your campaigns the same way you add any Customer Match audience. Lists fill as Google matches your shoppers, so a new list can take a while to reach a usable size.
Ideas for segments to sync
Segment | How to use it in Google Ads |
Potential Buyers | Retarget shoppers who left items in their cart |
Returning Visitors | Remind engaged browsers about products they viewed |
High Spenders | Bid higher for your most valuable shoppers |
First Time Buyers | Encourage a second purchase |
Disconnect Google Ads
Open the Google Ads menu in the Audiences top bar.
Click Disconnect.
Type DISCONNECT and confirm.
Before you publish
Disconnecting removes all LimeSpot audience segments from your Google Ads account right away. Campaigns that use those lists lose that targeting.
