Set up your store with AI onboarding

Let the LimeSpot Assistant read your store and set up recommendations, a progress bar, audiences and bundle discounts.

The first time you open Studio, the LimeSpot Assistant can personalize your whole store for you. It reads your pages the way a shopper sees them, then sets up recommendations, a cart progress bar, audience segments and bundle discounts. Everything goes into your draft, so nothing changes for shoppers until you publish.

Start onboarding

  1. Open Studio. The LimeSpot Assistant opens by itself with a welcome message.

  2. Under How do you want to start?, choose one:

    • Set it up for me (Recommended): "I set up your whole store — no questions. You connect Google and publish."

    • Walk me through it: "Go step by step and adjust each recommendation as we go."

The time shown on each choice is your part only. Reading and setting up your store takes longer.

What the Assistant does

  1. It reads your store at desktop and mobile size. The Reading your store checklist marks each page Read: Home, Product, Collection, Cart and Search. It never reads admin, account, checkout or blog pages.

  2. It matches your brand and picks the best spot for each recommendation box.

  3. The Setting up your store checklist tracks Recommendations, Smart Progress Bar, Quality check, Audience segments and Bundle discounts.

  4. In up to three passes, it checks each page again and fixes placement or styling.

  5. It sums up what it set up and anything still to do.

If your store asks for a password or shows a cookie or age prompt, complete it inside the store frame. The Assistant waits.

Where it starts

The Assistant starts from these best practices, then tailors them to your store:

  • Home: Most Popular and You May Also Like

  • Product: Bought Together and Related Products

  • Collection: Most Popular in that collection

  • Cart: Upsell and Bought Together, plus the Smart Progress Bar at the top of the page

  • Recently Viewed at the end of every page

Set it up for me

  1. Click Set it up for me. No questions are asked while it works.

  2. Connect Google. Click Sign in with Google, pick your account under "Select your Ads account:", then click Connect account. This syncs your audiences to Google Ads. Or click Skip. See Sync audiences to Google Ads.

  3. Read the summary. The Your store is set up card lists your Industry, Recommendations, Audiences, Progress Bar, Bundle discounts, Google Ads and Email. Click Adjust on any row to change it.

  1. Click See what changed, page by page to tour each page, or click I'll preview & publish myself and look through your pages on your own.

  2. Click Publish in the top bar when you're ready.

Walk me through it

The Assistant stops at each step so you can keep, change or skip it:

  1. Recommendations: add or remove boxes per page.

  2. Audiences: confirm your store's product categories and pick the audience segments to target.

  3. Progress Bar: choose a Free shipping, Free gift or Discount goal for your cart, or skip it.

  4. Bundle discounts: keep the suggested deals, change them with Adjust, or skip them.

  5. Connect Google, or skip.

  6. Review & Publish: browse your pages and choose how to finish. Click Review my store to go page by page, or Looks good to finish.

In each Adjust panel, Cancel throws away your changes and ✕ applies them and closes the panel.

Before you publish

Publishing replaces the recommendation boxes that are currently live on your store. Review your pages first.

Skip, pause or come back later

  • Skip setup on the welcome card closes onboarding and removes what this run added to your draft.

  • Minimizing the chat or pressing Esc doesn't skip it. Onboarding opens again the next time you load Studio.

  • Reloading or changing pages resumes at the same step in the same browser tab.

  • After onboarding is finished or skipped, the Getting started conversation stays in your chat list. You can ask the Assistant to optimize any page at any time.

Tip

A Bought Together box can look sparse or empty while you preview it. The preview has no shopping history or cart items, but shoppers will see real products.
