The Growth Grader is a free audit for stores that don't use LimeSpot yet. It reads your store like a visitor would and shows, page by page, where product recommendations, audiences and bundle offers could help you sell more. It's read-only: it doesn't change anything on your store, and it doesn't need access to your store admin.

Before you start
Use a computer. The Growth Grader doesn't run on phones or tablets.
Use a current version of Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
Your store must run on SHOPLINE.
If your store already has LimeSpot installed, the extension opens Studio instead. The Growth Grader is for stores without LimeSpot.
Install the extension
Go to limespot.com/growth-grader.
Click the button for your browser. It opens your browser's extension store: the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons or Microsoft Edge Add-ons.
Add the LimeSpot Growth Grader extension, then pin its icon to your toolbar.
The steps are the same in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Only the store page and button name differ, such as Add to Chrome or Add to Firefox.
Run the audit
Open your storefront in the browser where you installed the extension.
Click the LimeSpot icon in your toolbar.
If your store is detected, click Start Grader on this page. If you already started a run, click Resume Grader.
Otherwise, you see Grade your store for free. Click Start the free Growth Grader.
Fill in the form on limespot.com: your Store URL, platform, Annual online revenue, Work email and Your name. Complete the human check, accept the terms, and click Send me my audit. If your platform isn't supported, the button reads Join the platform waitlist instead.
You see Check your inbox. Open the email and click the link. Open it in the same browser profile that has the extension. The link expires after 30 minutes. If it doesn't arrive, click Resend link after 60 seconds.
The link page verifies your email and connects the extension. It shows how many free audits your store has left. Click Open my store and run the grader.
The Growth Grader opens over your storefront and starts reading your pages. You see progress such as "Auditing your store" and "Choosing what would go where".
When it's done, your report opens beside a chat. See Read your report below.
What the Growth Grader does on your store
It reads your Home, Product, Collection, Cart and Search pages at desktop and mobile width. If your store has no page of a type, it skips it and says so in the report.
It scrolls pages, closes pop-ups and opens the cart, as a visitor would.
It runs one sample search. That search shows up in your store's own search analytics.
It sends screenshots of your pages to LimeSpot's AI to write your report.
It never opens your store admin and makes no changes to your store.
Note
The audit takes a few minutes. Keep the tab open until your report appears.
Tip
Each store can run 2 free audits every 30 days.
Your report and chat are kept for up to 30 days. Open the Growth Grader again on the same store to see them without running a new audit.
Read your report
At the top, the report sums up what it found. You see one of these:
" gaps where personalization would sell more"
"No gaps found on any of the pages analyzed"
"No page could be analyzed this time"
Under it, a note reminds you that AI wrote the report from what it saw on your store, and that AI can make mistakes. Check its suggestions against your own pages.

Each fix is tagged with what it does for shoppers: Helps shoppers discover, Helps shoppers decide, Raises order value or Brings shoppers back.
Ask questions about your report
The chat beside the report answers questions about what it found, for example "Why would a bundle offer help on my product page?"
Type in Ask a question about your report…. Messages can be up to 500 characters, one at a time.
The chat has a limit on questions per report and per day. When you reach it, the chat closes for that report or for the day.
It only talks about your report. It doesn't predict results or discuss plans. For those, it points you to the LimeSpot team.
AI can make mistakes. Confirm details with LimeSpot's team before you make decisions.
Save or share your report
The report isn't saved to your store. To keep it:
Export PDF: opens your browser's print dialog so you can save a PDF.
Email report: sends it to you and up to four other people (five copies per report). To send it to others, enter your full name and confirm you know each recipient. You can add a note of up to 500 characters. Recipients see your name and email address.
You can also come back to it. The report stays in the extension for up to 30 days. Open the Growth Grader on the same store and click Open your report.
What to do next
At the bottom of the report:
Install LimeSpot & apply these starts the LimeSpot install. If some pages weren't analyzed, it reads Install LimeSpot & finish setup. On SHOPLINE, AI onboarding then sets up your store in a draft, and nothing goes live until you publish. See Set up your store with AI onboarding.

Start over or remove your details
To clear your saved sign-in and verified store from the extension, click the LimeSpot icon, choose Manage sessions, then Disconnect and forget.
