Studio opens on top of your real storefront, so you edit LimeSpot content right where shoppers will see it. You point at an element, click it, and its settings open next to it.
Availability
Plan: Growth Agents plan · Platform: SHOPLINE · Studio must be in Standard mode (see Preview your store on desktop and mobile)
Switch between pages
Studio edits one page type at a time, such as your Home, Product or Cart page.
Click the page name in the center of the top bar. The current page has a check mark.
Choose a page type, for example Product or Collection.
Studio loads a sample page of that type from your store. Your unsaved changes and your Desktop or Mobile choice stay as they were.
The list only shows page types your store has.
Know what you can edit
While Studio is idle, every LimeSpot element on the page carries a colored label, so you can spot your content at a glance:
Recommendation boxes show their box type, such as Related or Bought Together.
Smart Progress Bars show Progress Bar.
Personalized images and content show Smart Image or Smart Block.
Hover over an element to outline it. You can also select regular theme images and content blocks to personalize them, and theme product grids to replace them with a LimeSpot box. Individual product cards can't be selected.
Select an element
Click the element.
The rest of the page dims and the element is highlighted with a LIVE PREVIEW badge.
Its settings open in a side panel (a drawer). Make your changes. They preview live on the page.
To step back, click the dimmed area. The first click closes the drawer, the next ends editing, and the next clears the selection.
If a box shows LIVE PREVIEW · SAMPLE ITEMS, Studio is filling it with sample products so you can see the design. Shoppers see real recommendations.
Drawers have Dock drawer to pin the panel beside the page, and Close. Some drawers have their own Save button.
Add content
Hover between two sections of the page. A placement line with a + appears.
Click +.
Pick from the menu:
SUGGESTED: box types that suit this page. Types already on the page show Active and can't be added twice.
Recommendation Box: every box type.
Smart Progress Bar.
Move a box or progress bar
Hover over the box's label to reveal the move handle, then click it.
A banner reads "Moving — click a placement line to drop, or press ESC to cancel".
Click a placement line marked Drop here.
Only recommendation boxes and progress bars can be moved.
Find an element with search
Click the search icon in the top bar, or press ⌘+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows).
Type in Search elements.... Results are grouped into Recommendations, Progress Bar, Smart Images, Smart Blocks and Make smart (theme product grids you can replace).
Click a result, or press Enter to open the first match.
Note
Pages you view inside Studio don't count as shopper visits, so editing never affects your analytics.
Troubleshooting
