Our Related Items, Cross-Sell, Upsell, and Frequently Bought Together recommendation boxes can be enabled on all pages, allowing you to show your returning shoppers a recommendation box which is related to their past activities. This helps your shoppers easily navigate and repurchase these products. By selecting a "Reference Product" on the recommendation box setting, it allows you to customize their experience. Learn more on how to enable this!

  1. Navigate to the Designer by going to your LimeSpot Admin Panel > Conversion > Website Personalization > Designer.

  2. Go to the page you want to add the Related Items/Cross-Sell/Upsell/Frequently Bought Together box by selecting the dropdown in the top left.

  3. Click on the box you added and under the General tab, you will see the Reference Product dropdown. The Reference Product setting allows you to choose the recommendation setting based on 3 different options:

    • In-Cart: The recommendation box will only start showing up when you have products in your cart.

    • Recent Purchases: The recommendation box will only start showing up based on the Recently Purchased items of the Related Items/Cross-Sell/Upsell/Frequently Bought Together box.

    • Recent Views: The recommendation box will only start showing up based on the Recently Viewed items of the Related Items/Cross-Sell/Upsell/Frequently Bought Together box.

4. When adding the Related Items/Upsell/Cross-Sell/Frequently Bought Together boxes on the Product and Cart Pages, you will also have the option to choose the Current Product under the Reference Product setting. This means that the recommendations will be based on the product you are currently viewing, or the products which are currently in your cart.
