Why Does This Happen?

LimeSpot syncs with your store’s data regularly, but sometimes our database may not be fully up to date. This can happen if:

  • Shopify/BigCommerce hasn’t sent the latest data updates (webhooks).

  • There are delays in processing data updates.

  • Third-party apps managing inventory impact the update process.

To ensure your product and collection details are accurate, you can manually trigger a Data Sync in your LimeSpot Admin Panel.

How to Manually Sync Your Product Data

You can perform a Manual Data Sync every 6 hours to update your product information. Follow these steps:

  1. Go to your LimeSpot Admin Panel

  2. Click Optimization > Data Sync

  3. Click Initiate Sync

  4. A 'Job Progress' page will appear, showing the sync status. If you have a large catalog, this may take a few minutes.

  5. Once completed, refresh your website, and your product data should now be updated.

Important Notes:

  • Once you click Initiate Sync, the process starts on our end—even if the Job Progress window appears blank. There’s no need to click it again.

  • Shopify usually updates store data automatically throughout the day, but delays can happen due to Shopify’s queue, third-party apps, or system bugs.

  • If you continue seeing incorrect product details after syncing, give it a little time and refresh again.
