Post-purchase Discount Tiers

Learn how to create tier-based discounts to optimize the performance of your automatic offers on Post-purchase page.

This guide is only applicable to customers on Shopify platform.

Add discount tiers to your Automatic offers

In the Post-Purchase Offers Setup page, you will find the Discount Tiers component.

  1. Click the Add Discount Tier button on the left side.

  2. Click on ... (more options) to edit your discount tiers.

You can add multiple discount tiers with different Order values/sizes to create different incentives based on the number of products and/or the order value.

Once clicked, a pop-up box will appear. Fill in the details based on you preferences:

Discount Title - Depending on the discount type, you can adjust the name of the discount. Make sure to keep it short and enticing.

Note: Discount titles are presented as Sales Tags on the product recommendation carousel of your Post-purchase page

Discount Type - You can decide among 3 choices what kind of discount you want to be applied to your post-purchase offer

  • Free Shipping

  • Discount Amount

  • Discount Percentage

Min Order Value - in order to qualify for the discount you would like to offer, you can assign a minimum order value for the purchase made by your customer.

Max Order Value (optional) - you can set a limit to the purchase amount of a customer especially if you're adding a Discount Percentage tier.

Min Order Size (optional) - to qualify for the discount you would like to offer, you can assign a minimum order size or the number of items purchased by your customer.

Max Order Size (optional) - you can also assign a maximum order size or the number of items purchased by your customer.

Click save and make sure to do a test purchase to check whether the discounts are being populated correctly.
