Yotpo is a great marketing app that allows users to collect product reviews, photo reviews, site reviews & ratings. LimeSpot is integrated with Yotpo which means that merchants can display Yotpo review star ratings on the LimeSpot recommendation boxes, thus creating a personalized experience for your shoppers.
You have to install and activate both LimeSpot and Yotpo for this integration to function.
When you first install LimeSpot, the user ratings are automatically turned off so you will have to go into the settings to enable it.
Step 1 - Enable Yotpo Recommendations on your Checkout, Post Purchase, Thank you and Order status pages:
Navigate to LimeSpot App > Extensions > Integrations.
Select Yotpo and follow the prompts to connect.
Yotpo recommendations would be automatically added to your product recommendation cards throughout the purchase jounrey process.
Step 2 - Enable Yotpo Recommendations on your Website (Home, Products, Collections, Cart, Custom landing pages, Search, etc. )
Go to Conversion > Website Personalization > Designer.
Click Global Settings on the left panel.
Choose the General drop-down menu and make sure the checkbox is ticked for the
Showcheckbox.
In the bottom of the left panel, click Save and Publish.
Enabling the review apps to show reviews in the recommendation boxes may affect the page load time because Shopify does not support batch loading which means that LimeSpot needs load the reviews one by one per product in the recommendation boxes.
