Studio loads on top of your live storefront, so it needs your store, the LimeSpot script and your browser to work together. Most problems come from a blocked script, a cookie or password prompt, or an expired session. Your storefront isn't affected by any of these.

Start with these checks
Open Studio from your store admin. Open the LimeSpot app in your SHOPLINE admin. This signs you in for you. See Open Studio.
Turn off ad blockers and privacy extensions for your store's address, then reload.
Accept cookies if your store shows a cookie banner.
Unlock your store if it's password-protected. Enter the store password on the storefront, then open Studio again.
Use a current desktop browser. See Supported browsers.
Open Studio on your store's own address. If your store redirects between two addresses (for example with and without
www), open Studio from your store admin so it uses the right one.
Messages and what to do
You see | Why | What to do |
"Loading Studio..." doesn't go away | Studio is waiting for the LimeSpot script on your storefront, which hasn't loaded. | Turn off blockers, accept cookies, unlock the store, then reload. |
"Studio could not load" — "Your storefront is unchanged. Retry, or exit Studio and continue browsing." | Part of Studio didn't download, often because of a blocker or a brief network problem. | Click Retry. If it repeats, turn off blockers. Click Exit Studio to go back to your normal store. |
"LimeSpot Growth Agents could not load" (same message and buttons) | The AI part of Studio didn't download. | Same as above. |
"Error: Failed to initialize Studio: The storefront could not authenticate, so its LimeSpot runtime will not start." | Your storefront couldn't connect to LimeSpot. | Click Retry. Check that LimeSpot is installed and your plan is active. |
"Error: Failed to initialize Studio: No integration config returned from API" | LimeSpot's setup for your store is incomplete. | Contact [email protected]. |
"We couldn't open Growth Agents" — "Growth Agents could not be opened. Please sign in again or contact support." | LimeSpot couldn't finish signing you in from your store admin. | Close the LimeSpot app and open it again from your store admin. If it repeats, contact support. |
"Please enter your email and password." | A field on the sign-in card is empty. | Fill in both fields. |
A sign-in error such as "Login failed." | The email or password is wrong, or the account isn't an administrator of this store. | Check your details, or open Studio from your store admin instead. |
"Signed in, but the previous session could not be closed. Reload the page and try again." | An earlier session didn't close properly. | Reload the page and sign in again. |
The sign-in card appears while you're working | Your session expired after a period of inactivity. | Open Studio from your store admin again. Unsaved changes in this tab come back when you sign in to the same store. |
"Your Studio session has expired — reload this page, sign in again, then choose this again." | Your session expired during an action. | Reload, sign in, then repeat what you were doing. |
"Storefront access needed" | Your store is asking for a password, sign-in, cookie choice or age check inside a Studio preview. | Complete the prompt inside the preview. LimeSpot never reads your store password. |
"Storefront unavailable" — "The storefront or proxy did not reach a usable state." | The preview couldn't load your store. | Click Retry storefront. |
Before you publish
If Studio ever shows "This Studio is pointed at a non-LimeSpot backend", don't sign in. Close the tab and open Studio from your store admin. The link you used isn't a normal LimeSpot link.
Signing in more than once
Each Studio session lives in one browser tab. Opening your store in a new tab doesn't carry your session over, and closing the tab signs you out. Open Studio from your store admin each time you want a new tab.
