Campaign optimization process is based on the analysis of your products' performance in the Google Shopping platform.

If you don't have accurate information about your products' performance in Google Shopping, we recommend to start with running a single campaign and begin the optimization process when you have performance data.

We recommend to begin optimizing your campaign after 6 weeks from going live (4 weeks with eligible status), to make sure your decisions are built on solid results.

Note💡 :

All new campaigns will be in learning period for the first 14 days from being published. The performance during the learning period is not accurate as the engine is testing different audience segments and learning from their reaction.

There are a few different ways to optimize your campaigns:

  1. Optimize for maximizing the number of sales (conversions)

Separate your products in different campaigns based on their current performance (ROAS). Products with the same ROAS should be combined under one campaign.

  2. Optimize for the maximum profit value ($)

Separate your products in different campaigns based on the combination of their current performance (ROAS) and profit margin. Products with higher profit margin could have a lower Target ROAS and vice-versa.

  3. Optimize for maximizing profit and managing inventory

Separate your products in different campaigns based on combination of their current performance (ROAS), profit value, and stock availability. Products with higher stock availability and higher profit value could have a lower Target ROAS.

  4. Optimize for the maximizing profit and acquiring new customers

Separate your products in different campaigns based on combination of their current performance (ROAS), profit value, and visibility needs.

Newly released products would have a very low ROAS to ensure the visibility. Products with high profit margin would have a low margin to ensure maximizing the profit.
