Login to your existing Merchant Center Account with your Google account and navigate to Tools > Business Information > Website

You have three options to add the meta tag to your online store. Assuming you are the administrator of your online store, the 3rd option is the easiest.

Click on I have access to my server, copy the meta tag, and paste it into the header of your site's home page.

  • For instructions on how to paste the meta tag into Shopify stores' homepage, click here.
  • For instructions on how to paste the meta tag into BigCommerce stores' homepage, click here.

After you have pasted the meta tag into your site's home page following the instructions above, return to Google Merchant Center.

Click on VERIFY URL and then click on CLAIM URL.

Don't be startled when you see a yellow warning saying there exists 1 other Merchant Center account with a website that conflicts with the URL you're trying to claim. Go ahead and click CLAIM URL again.

Go back to your LimeSpot Ads onboarding setup and click on CHECK AGAIN.

The warnings/errors should now be gone, so click NEXT to proceed.
