Integrating LimeSpot With Langify and Other Multi-Currency Apps

Learn how to translate LimeSpot recommendation box elements using the Langify App and other multi-currency apps.

Langify is a translation app allowing merchants to translate their shops into multiple languages. There are two simple steps to translating our LimeSpot elements using Langify. Please note that we integrate with any multi-language app as long as they are using the Shopify API.

  1. Send us a quick message on [email protected] so we can add a script to translate Product titles and Variants. Note: This script only works if you are using Langify V2. If you are using Langify's old version (v1), we have a different implementation of the script and will need access to the store's Shopify Themes.

  2. For the recommendation box titles and add to cart text, you can use your Langify admin panel for that. Follow the instructions below:

  • Login to your Langify admin panel, and on the left menu, find "Custom".

  • At the top of this page, you will see a dropdown where you can select which language you want to translate the text from and to.

  • Click on "Add New Custom Content".

  • Paste the box titles and "add to cart" language you want to translate from, and the Upsell text (Would you like to add {title} for {price}?) in each separate text box.

  • For the Upsell text, you can paste it with the {title} and {price} tags, but just make sure that the translation doesn't change that. This means that once translated, if this changed, you can change back to {title} and {price} in English so we can still show product price and titles in the text.

  • Use the floppy disk icon ๐Ÿ’พ to Save on the right.

  • After saving, click on the same item you just pasted and you should be able to see an option to translate automatically.

  • You can keep adding more content if you want (remember to add new content for each different box title and other texts and not add it all into one custom content text box), or if you're done, just use the top Save button to save the changes and it should be live.
