LimeSpot features can be customized in many ways, including the translation of our components! While there is no automatic way to customize features, there is a variety of ways to do so manually.
NOTE: LimeSpot receives all product information from your Shopify product database through webhooks. We do not translate your product titles with our components; what appears on your Shopify database is what will appear in our recommendation boxes.
Translating our Recommendation Box Titles
To translate the titles of LimeSpot's recommendation box titles, please follow these simple steps:
Open your LimeSpot admin panel.
In the panel on the top, click Conversion > Website Personalization.
Click on the black Designer button.
Navigate to a desired page (ie. home page, product page, collection page, cart page, etc.) that you wish to translate a box title, click on the box name on the left panel. Select the Basic drop-down menu and enter your desired translation next to the "title section".
Once you have completed your translation changes on every page, click Save and Publish at the bottom of the left panel. (Publish pushes it live to your live store)
NOTE: You will need to input your desired translation for each recommendation box title you want to change on every page.
Translating our Sale Sign
On your products that have a discounted price (compare at price), our default settings are for a sale sign to appear, displaying "SALE" on the top left corner of the item. In order to change the translation of this message, follow these steps:
Open your LimeSpot admin panel.
In the panel on the top, click Conversion > Website Personalization.
Click on the black Designer button.
In the Global Setting tab on the left panel, click General
Toggle "Sale Tag" to enable/disable the sale sign from appearing on all the recommendation boxes
Under "Text", enter your desired translation for all your recommendation boxes
Once you have completed your translation changes on every page, click Save and Publish at the bottom of the left panel. (Publish pushes it live to your live store)
LimeSpot Tip: If you would like to display the discount percentage, please add the following to the "Sale" tag text box:
{percentage}% - Example: SAVE {percentage}% will appear as SAVE 20% (the number will change to the corresponding discounted percentage for each individual product).
Translating our Add to Cart Button
If you would like to change the translation of our box's Add to Cart button, follow these simple steps!
Open your LimeSpot admin panel.
In the panel on the top, click Conversion > Website Personalization.
Click on the black Designer button.
Under the Global Settings menu, click Extra
Change the add to cart text next to the Quick Actions section.
Once you have completed your translation changes on every page, click Save and Publish on the bottom of the left panel. (Publish pushes it live to your live store)
