Like any other SaaS services (e.g. Shopify, Netflix), we charge our customers upfront at the start of a subscription period (which is 30 days in our case). Given the way our pricing model works, in order to decide whether or not your subscription fee should be waved for your first period (after trial), we need a reference baseline. Therefore on the day the trial ends, given that our app has only been running for 15 days (half of a standard 30-day period), we prorate the LimeSpot Personalizer driven revenue to give us a reference. For example, if our app has generated half of 5x of the monthly subscription, we won't consider the store eligible for waving the subscription fee on the upcoming month.
