If you carry multiple products with different target ROAS, you will need to create multiple shopping campaigns.

Create Multiple Campaigns to Maximize Performance

To create multiple campaigns to maximize performance (number of sales), you need to separate your products between different campaigns based on the current performance of them.

Products with the same actual ROAS should be combined in one campaign.

Example 1 (Products with different ROAS):

Tips:

  1. If you are not sure about the current performance of your products, we recommend you to create 1 campaign for all your products, run it for 45 days and then create new campaigns and distribute the products based on their performance.

  2. Keep the total number of campaigns under 5.

Create Multiple Campaigns to Maximize Profit

To create multiple campaigns to maximize profit, you need to separate your products between different campaigns based on a combination of profit margin, stock availability and the current performance.

Products with higher profit margin could have a lower Target ROAS, while products with low-stock availability could use a higher Target ROAS.

Example 3 (Products with different profit margin and stock availability value):

Tip:

To ensure visibility for your best performing "hero" products or new releases, set a very low target ROAS to make sure that these products receive the desired traffic and visibility. This will guarantee that a certain portion of your total Smart Shopping Campaign investment is allocated toward this category.
