LimeSpot Personalizer is now in beta testing for WooCommerce. Please contact [email protected] to receive our plugin's .zip file and read on for more instructions.

Prerequisites

Before you start, make sure the following items are set up correctly:

1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Legacy API and make sure that "Enable the legacy REST API" is checked. This allows our app to communicate with the WooCommerce platform.

2. Go to Settings > Permalinks and make sure that the URL structure selected is NOT set on the "Plain" option. WooCommerce APIs do not perform correctly on the Plain URL structure. If you don't know which one to pick, we suggest the "Post name" option.

Installation

Installing LimeSpot onto your WooCommerce store is super easy! Here is how to install it:

  1. Go to your WordPress Admin Panel > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin > Choose File > Select the .zip File from your Computer > Install Now

2. Once the plugin is installed successfully, click Activate Plugin.

After the above steps are completed, access LimeSpot at the top of Plugins.
Simply follow the indicated steps to install Personalizer on your store.

Post-Installation

If you’re using a caching plugin like WP Rocket, make sure you clear your cache after activating/deactivating the LimeSpot plugin.

After you go through the installation process, you are now ready to customize our boxes on your store! Visit our box designer settings article to learn how to customize our recommendation boxes, and our box placement article to change the position of our boxes on your store.
